I wonder if you can give us some guidance: I am writing for my sister who is looking for an ophthalmologic diagnostic and treatment/surgery; in short here is her case:

41 year old pacient with diabetes insulin dependent from 1997. o­n may 2005 suffers uveitis with hipopion at right eye. Operated in June 2005 of vitrectomie, replacing the vitreous-body with silicon oil, and lensectomie.

At the moment, the right eye pressure is 7 mm, there is a light perception, but o­nly in the temporal area and only at very strong light.

We are interested in finding out if there are surgical ways for treating the vitreous-retina problem, so that the right eye could improve as much as possible.
